Dear colleagues:

We are very pleased to invite you to take part in the 2nd Sino-US Human Appearance Summit Forum, and the 2nd Sino-US Plastic Surgery Senior Course during May 13th to May 16th, 2010 in Beijing. This conference is organized by Plastic Surgery Department of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University and Plastic Surgery Department of University of Pennsylvania Hospital, and supported by Society of Plastic Surgery of Beijing Branch of Chinese Medical Association and Chinese Plastic Surgery Magazine. This conference will be held in Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital, Affiliated hospital of Capital Medical University.

Plastic surgery has a long history both in China and the USA. Dr.Robert Ivy of University of Pennsylvania is one of the founders of the world plastic surgery. Chinese founder of plastic surgery, Dr.Song Ruyao and Dr.Zhang Disheng, used to be trained by Dr. Ivy. The Honorary President, Dr. Linton Whitaker, was also trained by Dr. Ivy. Dr.Whitaker is the founder of Center for Human Appearance (CHA). CHA has been dedicating to improve plastic surgery, dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, psychology all over the world for a long time. CHA has set up branches in Europe, Asia and Africa. The only branch of Asia is set up in the Plastic Surgery Department of Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital, the affiliated hospital Capital Medical University. Center for Human Appearance China (CHAC) is dedicating to the same aim of CHA. CHAC actively devotes to academic and culture exchange of plastic surgery between the USA and China.

In 2010, six of the most outstanding American experts and more than fifteen of the most outstanding Chinese plastic experts will come to Beijing to share their experience with us and will do some operation in Beijing Chao-Yang hospital..

We sincerely welcome you to take part in and submit articles to this conference. This conference will definitely improve the update idea and advanced technique exchange between China and the USA plastic surgeons.
